Aroid Fever LLC was founded in 2019 in Tampa, Florida, and is owned by Josean Rodriguez, a plant enthusiast with a passion for exotic plants, rare aroids, and collector-quality tropical plants.

Josean created Aroid Fever with the idea of offering customers a more personal and curated way to find beautiful plants. Instead of simply selling whatever is commonly available, his focus is on sourcing unique plants, connecting with growers and vendors, and helping customers locate plants that match their taste, budget, and collection goals.

His interest in plants grew from the excitement of discovering unusual varieties, dramatic foliage, high variegation, and tropical species that stand out from ordinary houseplants. That same excitement is what shaped the vision behind Aroid Fever: a brand built around discovery, rarity, and the joy of collecting.

As the owner, Josean is involved in the full process — from finding plants, reviewing availability, coordinating orders, communicating with customers, tracking deposits and balances, arranging pickup or delivery, and making sure each transaction is handled professionally.
